I Hate Earth Day ™
I hate Earthday, and I'm not the only one! I hate all this political showmanship and corporate spin! What's the big deal? Back in 1970 when we still had lead paint in our homes, lead in our gas, and smog in our cities - Earth Day had a purpose. That was nearly 40 years ago. Give us a break! Is it still so fashionable to be green? You can't observe it just once a year and brag about how green your political candidate or corporation can be. The tree huggers and environmentalists want to make us crazy about everything we're still doing wrong and preach about how we're still screwing up the environment. So what's my pet peeve? Earth Day!
